I have met Yuu Cadowachi on facebook a few months ago and I have to say that every time he releases a new tying video I am amazed by the simple beauty of his ties.

TENKARA CHICK

A handful of new tenkara blogs have appeared this year in Europe and in the US. It's a good thing. This proves that slowly but surely tenkara is rooting in the western fishing landscape . No offense to some!
One of these new blogs is published by a woman, her name is Melissa Alcorn and her blog is called TENKARA CHICK.

The blog has recently been established but it is already showing a good state of mind in its writings and knowing about the other passions of Melissa I think this blog will get really interesting in the future. It's really good to see that the tenkara anglers are willing to become active members of this community. I sincerely hope that this blog would inspire other females to be active in the tenkara community.

CHANGE AND CONTINUITY

There are gonna be changes in Tenkara Enso blog in the weeks and months to come.

I have decided to modify the layout to make the reading more comfortable and I hope I have succeeded.

If you are in touch with me through Facebook you have perhaps realized that I stopped posting anything on fly fishing groups where there are some passionates but also too many close-minded and moralizing people. I think that fly fishers who are potentially interested in tenkara will spontaneously join this community so it is not worth wasting time with these groups.
I do not have free time enough to waste it with uninteresting people who, instead of minding their own business, always have an opinion about what other people do.

I started dealing with this theme a few weeks ago and in the future I will make articles about my fishing readings. I don't know yet what form these articles will have but it seems to me that this has to be a part of my blog because I have learnt a lot and still learn a lot about Tenkara from these readings.
Perhaps these "reviews" will be useful for someone to know what is really interesting and what is not, or less.
It has been a few months since I opened in a new shelf in my fishing library and it deals with fixed line techniques, mangas and more.

TENKARA ENSO is going to change but will be in the continuity of what has been done until now.

TENKARA ENSO...

Perhaps some of you know that I already edit the TENKARA NORMANDIE blog but I have realized that many people who are interested by this blog can not read it because they don't  know French langage so I decided to start a second blog in English.

The two blogs have the same goal which is to promote Tenkara as a fishing technique and as a philosophy. I am more on the traditional side of Tenkara for the reasons of efficiency and simplicity.

Traditional Tenkara is for me a good way to get rid of bad habits and useless equipment accumulated through out my fly fishing career.

That's why I decided to title this new blog "TENKARA ENSO", Tenkara is not for me only a fishing technique but a path to serenity. Isn't Tenkara supposed to come from heaven?
